Dear Dad, thank you for accepting me as the daughter you never had and thank you for being such a wonderful Grandpa to my children. You had a great long life and fought a tough fight in the end. I will cherish the memories we made over the past 28 years. I will miss your quiet presence and your sweet smile. I promised you that we will always look after Mom and we will honor that promise. Please know that when she is called home, she will rest beside you. Rest easy Dad

Please accept my deepest sympathy. Words cannot console when we have lost someone we love in death. The Bible provides the finest basis for encouragement. 2 Corinthians 1:3, 4 calls God "the God of all Comfort". Just imagine, being comforted by God ( Psalms 83:18) who knows what we need and gives it to us at the right time to bring us joy and help us to cope. I hope this message brings you and your family a measure of comfort
