Obituary of Aurelio Reyes
Aurelio Reyes, age 68, of Plainfield, passed away peacefully, Sunday, May 28, 2017 at Joliet Area Community Hospice Home with his loving family by his side.
Born September 25, 1948 in Mexico, he was the son of Tiburcio and Paula (Cobos) Reyes. He worked as a machine operator with over 30 years of service with New Process Steel.
Aurelio was a loving husband, a devoted father, and an adoring grandfather. He was a hardworker and always kept busy. He was a happy man and always smiling, and will be remembered for his giving spirit.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 33 years, Maria Acosta Reyes; two sons, Arnaldo (Sheila) Reyes and Adolfito Reyes, both of Plainfield; one grandson, Alexander Aurelio Reyes; two brothers, Carmen and Francisco; two sisters, Fausta and Pascuala; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and one sister, Bertha.

Funeral services for Aurelio Reyes will be held Thursday, June 1, 2017 at 9:00 a.m. from the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Roads, Joliet, to St. Mary Immaculate Catholic Church, Plainfield, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Park.
