George S. Burosh
Age 64, of Joliet, IL passed away at his home surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, May 31, 2017. He was born June 20, 1952 in Joliet, IL.
George grew up in Joliet, IL, was a 1970 graduate of Joliet Central High School and also attended Joliet Junior College and Wright Institute of Chicago. He was employed by Ceco Steel (Thomas Steel) from 1972 through 1989, and CAVO Broadband Communications from 1992 through 2010.
George enjoyed playing his guitar, listening to music, fishing, and spending time with his family.
George was the precious husband of Gina Burosh (nee Valentino), whom he married October 29, 1971; loving father of Jennifer (Norman) Voight and Jason (Amber) Burosh; adored Grandpa and Papa to Alex, Delaney, and Brody Burosh, and Sofia Voight; devoted son of the late George A. and Anne (nee Pilarcik); loving brother to the late Georgeanne Underwood, and the late Nancy Mayfield, and survived by his loving sister Deborah (Mark) Coldwater. Also preceded in death by his dear mother and father-in-law, Raymond and Delores Valentino, and dear brother-in-law Mark Valentino. Survived by several loving brother and sister-in-laws, Neva (Michael) Iravani, Marylou Valentino, Fred Valentino (Sheina), Bill (Patti) Valentino, and Linda (Jim) Horvatin, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
Private services were held Wednesday, June 7 at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home.
