Connie A. Lazzaro

Connie A. Lazzaro, age 87, formerly of Lockport, and late of Minooka passed away peacefully Monday, June 5, 2017 at Park Pointe Health Care and Rehabilitation Center, Morris.

Born September 19, 1929 in Joliet, she was the daughter of the late Francis “Frank” and Mamie (Laurich) Bravato.   She was a graduate of Providence High School.  Connie enjoyed working as a medical receptionist for Dr. Donald Laasch for many years, and later for Joliet Medical Group.

She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph B. Lazzaro (1994).

Surviving are her children, Frank Lazzaro of Minooka, David (Peggy) Lazzaro of Shorewood, and Natalie (Scott) Baxter of Minooka;  three grandchildren, Seth (Amber) Baxter, Lexi (fiancé Niko Capodice) Baxter, and Rye Baxter;  two sisters, Mary Ann (late Andrew) Sullivan and Frances Patton;  sister-in-law, Grace Fazio and brother-in-law, Larry Wicevic; several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services for Connie Lazzaro at Woodlawn Memorial Park will be private.  In lieu of flowers, memorials to Joliet Area Community Hospice would be appreciated.  Fred C.
