Dear Sister Sue,
It is with much sadness I learned of your passing from your son Rob. Living so many miles away from you for many years our communication was largely through letters, phone calls and the occasional visit from me to you in Joliet and Channahon. I always enjoyed our times together on our visits, and of course during the many years when we were children and young adults. Your letters were always so full of news and wonderful stories about what was going on in the family back in the Midwest, and you kindly also enclosed photos of all the important happenings in the family. I will be forever grateful to you for having done this for so many years. You had a certain strength we all could count on, Sister Sue, and that I will sorely miss. Now I am the last of our family, but memories of our times together will be with me always. God Bless.
