My heart and prayers are with his wife and daughter during this great loss. I know Julio from high school and I can state that even back then he made a positive lasting impression on every one he met. A Role model and inspiration to many. Knowing Julio, he will now watch and protect from up above his greatest two loves, his wife and daughter. May you Rest In Peace Julio.

Julio and I never had the opportunity to meet, but I feel I have a very good idea of who "the man behind the myth" was, given to me through communications with Linda, his loving Mother In Law and the matriarch of these strong women. Ladies, we are joined by a common thread now in life, and this material world will only hold us for a very short period of time, and you will rejoin your loving man on the other side one day. I believe, that the love you hold in your hearts allows us to reconnect with our soul mates and those we hold dear in our hearts, once our energy is released when we make our own final departure from this earthly journey. Julio used all of his Universal gifts to the best of his abilities, and from one warrior to another, no human could ask for anything more. May the Universe ease your healing hearts pain quickly; look to the gifts the Universe has bestowed upon you for strength and may God bless you all. Peace

In the short time I knew Julio while we worked together at Saint Cloud Fire Rescue I learned that there were a few things he loved dearly. He loved helping people. He loved fitness. And most of all he loved his family. May this time of grieving pass quickly while the memories last forever.

He lived by the three d's, disipline, desire, dedication. He didn't just talk the talk, but whatever he put his mind to, he walked it as well. He also taught me that drinking a regular coca cola on occasion is okay. RIP friend.

I'm sorry I hadn't seen Julio for the past few years. He was a good friend who showed me some improved ways to work out and made me as strong as I ever was. He was a passionate man about his physique ( with movie star looks) his friends and his family and his job. I was fortunate to know you, Julio, and will miss you.

Julio,
I have learned too much that life is fleeting in this world and we are constantly reminded of that. That shouldn't be overshadowed by someone's energy, aura, personality, morals, ethics, and as simple as their laugh, their smile, and their tears. I was going to write this in private so to make this is about you and your family and not me, but changed my mind to honor what I thought of you. For the short time I got to know you man, first I want to say it was a pleasure and an honor. I remember working out; from early am workouts, to afternoon workouts, to running at Juno Beach, to having a deadlift contest where I couldn't walk later on that night during calls, to being called out by Captain Yates for being an idiot that wouldn't be able to walk a high rise fire due to said workout haha, going on calls with you especially a few I remember from 3's area, 6's area, and a trauma alert in 5's area where someone like me who is an all knowing so called medic actually learned some new things (which was humbling ha), too many 101 executive drive calls ha, you cooking late night meals of ground turkey and rice at station 5 and 2, and how could I forget slamming the door of the rescue on your hand ha. I remember helping you move somethings at your house out at Loxahatchee and meeting your wife more than a few times. I also just remember shooting the perverbial "shit" with you. I got some funny reason in my head remembering you were Spider-Man and Dozer was Superman haha. When the obituary states you were high energy that is the understatement of the century, you were a machine haha. I'm sorry to hear the news you left this place behind but your family can take solace that you are not forgotten and will be remembered. Rest easy man.
Your friend,
Dan Jacobson

Julio for the short time I knew you in Chicago, you were always an Orlando friend, a piece of home while I lived in Chicago. Now BatNurse & the original Batman are together, I'm guessing the cast needed a private nurse and you were the prefect choice.
We are sorry to lose you here on earth and you'll be greatly missed.

Prayers for Julio's wife, daughter and family. I had the privilege of working with Julio in his short time with St. Cloud Fire Rescue and he made an impact from the first day he was with us. His years of experience as a Paramedic were quickly evident and influenced a number of new medics in the department. Godspeed Julio, gone too soon.
