Uncle Mike and Aunt Carol were the reason my parents met. Uncle Mike was there for my Mom and Dad during their battles with cancer. Helping take them to doctor appointments etc. Keeping my Dad occupied when Mom passed. Forever grateful for all he and Aunt Carol did. I hope Uncle Mike and my Dad have had their first favorite meal of the day together - breakfast! I know there were many Boland Angels there to greet him home. I hope he knows we will be here for his Angel on Earth - Aunt Carol. I wish I had the opportunity to have spent more time with him over the last few years. Life gets too busy leaving us with regrets. But thankful for the many fond memories we have of him.
Thank you for everything dad. You have always been and will always be SUPERMAN to me. I love you. Say 'hi' to everyone up there, Nanny, Uncle Harry, Aunt Dale and Uncle Joe and the rest.
Dad was and always will be the Greatest father a son could have. Thank you Dad.
