Jaidyn Chance Zuro
Jaidyn Chance Zuro, age 9, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 18 2017 at the Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital in Chicago with his loving family by his side after a long battle with Leigh Syndrome and other complications. He was born on February 18, 2008 in Minneapolis, MN. Jaidyn was full of life and had the smile that would light up a room. He captured the hearts of anyone that he met. Jaidyn culminated his life by making a final gift of his liver, kidney and heart valves to save the lives of three other children.
Jaidyn is survived by his mother, Kellie Zuro; his sisters, Mykaila and Kiarah; his brother, Dante; his grandparents, Mark and Cathy Zuro; and numerous other relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by his maternal great grandparents; Eli and June Obradovich and Mark and Eileen Zuro; his uncle Kevin Zuro; his aunt Megan Zuro; and his cousin Brian Zuro.
Funeral Services for Jaidyn Chance Zuro will be held on Friday, July 21, 2017 at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Roads, Joliet, IL at 7:00 p.m. Cremation rites will be accorded following the funeral service. In lieu of flowers, memorials in his name to Gift of Hope, 425 Spring Lake Drive, Itasca, IL 60143 would be appreciated.
