Albert L. Henry, Jr.

“Red”

Albert L. Henry, Jr. passed away Monday, July 31, 2017 at his home following a courageous battle with brain cancer at the age of 48.  He was born in Angola, IN, resided in New Lenox since 1980, and most recently the Joliet area since 1988.  Red received his G.E.D. from Joliet Junior College and was employed by Westmont Interior Supply for the past 21 years.  He was a basketball coach at Chaney-Monge Grade School, Crest Hill, and an avid cook and fisherman.  Red enjoyed working out and deeply loved his family including his K-9 companions.

He is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Tina M. (nee Breymeyer) Henry of Crest Hill; his two daughters, Brittni (fiancé Kurtis Delair) Henry of Manhattan, and Brooke (Mitchell) Long of Wilmington; his mother, Barbara (nee Moore) Henry of New Lenox; his sister, Deborah Henry of Petersburg; his brother, John (Christine) Henry of Manhattan; his half sister, Jessica Henry and half brothers, Paul Henry of Tallula and Josh (Lidy) Henry of Texas.  Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

He was preceded by his father, Albert L. Henry, Sr. (2014).

Funeral Services for Albert L. Henry, Jr. will be Saturday, August 5, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at the Fred C.
