Glenn J. Crawford

Age 87, formerly of Joliet, IL, passed away peacefully at the home of his daughter in Poplar Grove, IL, on Wednesday September 6, 2017.  He was born November 5, 1929 to the late Helen (nee Roth) and George Crawford in Chicago, IL.  

In addition to his parents, Glenn is preceded in death by his loving wife, Rita (nee Tierney), whom he married September 10, 1949.

Glenn is the beloved father of Gwen (Leonard) Preucil; loving grandfather of Dawn (Steve) Zientko; and the proud great grandfather of Cole and Ryan Zientko.

He retired from Caterpillar Inc. after many years of faithful service.  Glenn was also the founder of Double G Nursery.  He will be remembered fondly as a hard working family man with a friendly demeanor and giving spirit.

Funeral services for Glenn Crawford will be held 1:00 p.m., Monday, September 11, 2017 at the Fred C.
