Miguel Cruz
Miguel Cruz, age 24, of Joliet, passed away Friday, October 6, 2017 at Presence St. Joseph Medical Center.
Born September 29, 1993 in Joliet, he was the son of Guadalupe and Rosa (nee De La Cruz) Cruz. He was a graduate of Joliet West High School and worked for WeatherTech, Bolingbrook.
Miguel was a loving and devoted son, brother and uncle. He had a big heart and loved his family more than anything in the world. He enjoyed being around people and would light up the room with his beautiful smile. Miguel had a competitive spirit and liked playing baseball, working out, and spending time outdoors. He will be missed and never forgotten.
Surviving are his father, Guadalupe Cruz of Joliet; his brothers, Guadalupe (Nayda) Cruz, Jr., Javier (Stacey) Cruz, Andres (Clarissa) Cruz, and Angel (Monica) Del Toro; and his nieces and nephews, Guadalupe III, Lorenzo, Genesee Raine, Javier, Jr., Jay, Kaylen, Bailey and Andres, Jr. Many aunts, uncles and cousins also survive.
He was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Rosa Cruz.
