Freddy F. Richrath
Age 72, of Morris, passed away Sunday, October 8, 2017 at home with his family by his side. Freddy was born in Brookfield, IL, the son of the late Fred and Bessie (nee Jakovic) Richrath. Freddy resided in Morris the past 12 years and formerly in Westmont. He is a graduate of Lyons Township High School Class of 1963. Freddy was a proud U.S. Army Veteran, serving two years in Fort Knox, KY. He retired from AT&T in 2007 following 40 years of service. He loved reading, traveling, fishing and enjoyed cooking with his daughter.
Surviving are his loving wife of 49 years, Judith (nee James) Richrath of Morris; three children, Curtiss Richrath of Akron, OH, Donald Richrath of Wichita, KS and Susan Richrath of Morris; and three grandchildren, Madison, Benjamin and Abigail Richrath. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
He was preceded by his parents; his sister, Bettyrose Mollenda; and his brother, Edward Richrath.
Visitation for Freddy F. Richrath will be Wednesday, October 11, 2017 from 2:00-8:00 p.m. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Rds., Joliet.
