I am so sorry to hear of Joan's passing. I first met her while delivering her medicine while she was in her home. I believe the 1 st time I met her, she opened the door and I smelled GAS. I asked her if she had just used the stove. No she hadn't. I went and checked the stove. No it wasn't on. I thank God that I did check. She called her son. He called Fire Dept. she had a gas leak. She was such a sweet lady. She will be truly missed. I am sorry for your families loss.

I have such fond memories of Mrs. Reardon, my librarian at MPS! My dad, Dr. Jesse James, passed away last year so I'm positive he's welcoming Joan up in Heaven. They will both smile upon us Miton Pope Pilots!!
I have 2 vivid memories of Mrs. Reardon: 1) she gave me aspirin for a toothache and told me to let it melt by my tooth (ick). 2) She let me spend my free time browsing thru the "big" dictionary!
Love and prayers to Mrs. Reardon and her family.
