Linda C. Helms

Age 53, of Channahon, IL, passed away Tuesday, October 17, 2017 at Presence St. Joseph Medical Center in Joliet, IL.  Born April 11, 1964 to Donna (nee Hansen) and the late William A. Corzine in Spring Valley, IL.

Survived by her loving husband Jerry Helms; daughters, Samantha (Chris) Barnes and Tara Hulbert (Brock) Walker; son, Joseph (Kasey) Hirsch; grandchildren, Joey, Hailey, Leah, Abel, Gabriel, Adrian, Arianna, Jesse, Noah and Ever; mother, Donna; brother, Bill (Barb) Corzine; and sisters, Denise (Tom) Slick, Barbara (John) Karnezis.  Many nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

She was preceded by her father, William Corzine.

Linda was an animal lover.  She enjoyed gardening, fishing, and motorcycle riding and truly loved the outdoors and nature.

All friends and relatives are invited to gather Friday, October 20,2017 from 6:00 p.m. until the Memorial Service begins at  7 p.m. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 1201 W. Route 6 at Deerpath Drive, Morris, IL.  As it was Linda's wish, cremation rites have been accorded.
