Randall E. Jepsen
Age 61, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 2, 2017 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born December 14, 1955 in Berwyn, IL, the son of the late Peter and Patricia (nee Herring) Jepsen. Randall retired from D & M Corvette, Downers Grove, IL in 2007 with nine years of service and was previously employed at Kubik’s Auto Service with 25 years of service. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, sports shooter, gun collector and gunsmith.
Surviving is his loving wife of 40 years, Gwendolyn (nee Quick) Jepsen; children, Michelle (Christopher) Livorsi and Christine (Michael) Lovendahl; grandchildren, Elizabeth, Alyssa, Dominick, Shaun, Shane, Olivia and Grace; sister, Donna DiBrito and was the uncle of many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded by his parents and nephew, Michael Anthony Jepsen DiBrito.
A Memorial Gathering for Randall E. Jepsen will be held Wednesday, November 8, 2017 from 9:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Rds., Joliet. Interment will be at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery where full military honors will be conducted under the auspices of the U.S. Navy.
