At the youthful age of 97 years young, because that’s the way she lived her life, on Wednesday, November 8, 2017 at Presence St. Joseph Medical Center, the Lord called Mary from this life to the next with her loving family by her side. Mary was born in Joliet on May 19, 1920 to the late Joseph and Antonia (nee Vidic) Nosse and was a lifelong Joliet area resident. Mary’s life was centered on her family and her lifelong commitment to St. Joseph Catholic Church in Joliet, also Mary was a former member of the KSKJ, the St. Joseph Seniors and the Altar and Rosary Society.
She was preceded by her husband, Richard “Judge” William Kubinski, Sr. (1962); her parents; one sister, Theresa (Frank) Buldak; and seven brothers, Joseph (Emma), Frank, James, John, Anton, Michael (Victoria) and Henry Nosse.
Mary is survived by two sons, Richard (Pat) Kubinski, Jr. of Joliet and William (Barb) Kubinski of Streetman, TX; two daughters, Peggy (the late Gerry) Kubinski of Channahon and Judy (James) Bucciferro of Joliet; 10 grandchildren, Kim (Steve) Maloney, Kerri (Sal) Fasano, Richard (Darcie) Kubinski III, Chris (Marissa) Kubinski, Kelly (Matt) Tungett, Candice (Jeff) Todd, Chad (Clara) Kubinski, Samantha (Nate Durham) Kubinski, Morgan (Matt Hamilton) Bucciferro and Anthony (fiancé Monique Volz) Bucciferro; 16 great grandchildren; nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
Funeral services for Mary Ann Kubinski will be held Monday, November 13, 2017 at 9:15 a.m. from the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Rds., Joliet to St. Joseph Catholic Church, 416 N. Chicago St., Joliet for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Joseph Catholic Church in her name would be appreciated.
