Gene F. Gang
Age 85, of Morris, passed away Friday, November 10, 2017, at Park Pointe Healthcare and Rehab Center of Morris. Born January 14, 1932 to the late Mae and William "Bill" Gang, he was a lifetime resident of Morris and a graduate of Morris Community High School. Gene was a US Navy Veteran. He married Mildred Unland August 12, 1952 in Key West, FL.
Survived by his children, Patti (Randy) White, Terry (Kim) Gang, Lana (Dan) Snyder all of Morris and Brett Gang of ND; seven grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by his wife, Mildred Gang (2000) and his parents.
Gene retired from Caterpillar Inc. after 45 years of service. He was a huge Cubs and Bears fan. He was an accomplished piano and accordion player. Other hobbies included fishing, hunting and photography.
Funeral services for Gene Gang will be Tuesday November 14, 2017 at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 1201 W. Route 6 at Deerpath Drive, Morris where visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until services begin at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Sample Cemetery.
