We have been so lucky living next door to Mark for close to 15 years. Mark was such a good person and a great neighbor. He played baseball with our Max and never boasted of his amazing batting average. He always was so happy and energized seeing little Mila run around and Mark was always praising her spirit and her attire. My kids thought of Mark as a "Grandpa" and Mark was a friend that we wanted to share our stories with. My Mom and Mark had wonderful talks about gardening and the kids. That's why this is so hard to write but we wanted his family and friends to know that our neighborhood was always a place of warmth, family and safety thanks to Mark Offerman. Our home seems so different to us without him already. We will continue to cherish his memory and pray for his place in heaven.
