Obituary of Patricia A. Falletti
Patricia A. "Patty" Falletti
On a cold dark night, God called one of his angels on Sunday, November 19, 2017 from the Joliet Area Community Hospice Home, where her family was sitting by her side. Patricia was born in Joliet, and was a lifelong Joliet area resident. She was a graduate of Joliet Central High School, Class of 1969, and St. John the Baptist Grade School. She retired from St. Patrick’s Retirement Home as a Dietary Aid after over 42 years of providing well balanced meals to the residents. Patti's strong Catholic faith ran through her, she was a long time member of St. Jude Catholic Church and a Eucharistic Minister. She found kindness and fellowship as a member of the Benevolent and Protective Order of the Elk Lodge #296. In her younger years, she was an avid bowler and enjoyed playing a myriad of sports.
Those family members that have gone before her are her parents, Joseph and Caroline (nee Viano) Falletti, and her fond brother-in-law, Bill Voigts.
She is survived by her loving and devoted sister, who was always at her side, Carol A. Voigts of Joliet. She is also survived by Carol and Bill's children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, who absolutely lit up her life. Her cousins, Betty Jean (the late Mike) Mahoney, Richard, Michael and Mark Wilhelmi, and Mary Lynn (Jerry) Eisenbrandt also survive.
