James Koukas

Age 74, of Reddick, IL, passed away on Thursday, November 23, 2017 at Riverside Medical Center.  Born December 13, 1942 in Germany, he was the son of the late George and Georgia (nee Krouska) Koukas.  James retired in 2004, a life member of Local 33, as a union painter.  He was devoted to his family and enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren.

Surviving are his five children, John (Deana) Kutzschebauch, Christine (Charles) Leuver, Matthew (Bonnie) Koukas, Georgina Burr and Dariusza Koukas; he was the grandfather of many; and three brothers in Greece.

A Memorial Gathering for James Koukas will be held on Wednesday, December 13, 2017 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at the Fred C.
