Obituary of Helen M. DeLach

Helen M. DeLach, age 96, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 30, 2017 at Delnor Community Hospital, Geneva, IL.

Born June 2, 1921 in Joliet, IL, she was a lifelong Joliet resident until moving to the Presence Pine View Care Center in St. Charles, during her declining years.  Helen was a former member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church and attended the Cathedral of St. Raymond.

Surviving are her many loving nieces and nephews, and members of the Barskie Family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Matthew A. and Helen J. (nee Zentarski) DeLach; two brothers, Matthew A. DeLach and Edward J. DeLach; and four sisters, Irene T. DeLach, Pearl A. DeLach, Lillian Brayton, and Rose DeLach.

A Memorial Mass for Helen M. DeLach will be celebrated Tuesday, December 12, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at the Cathedral of St. Raymond  Nonnatus, 604 N. Raynor Avenue, Joliet.  Interment in Resurrection Cemetery, Romeoville, will be private.  There will be no visitation.
