“Kathy”

Age 58, passed away peacefully on December 3, 2017 at home surrounded by her loving family.  She was born in Rome, NY on October 1, 1959, to the late Raymond and Rita (nee Fink) King.  Kathy, along with her husband Gil, owned McBride’s Collision.  She was an avid gambler and animal lover; her “best friends” were her canine companions, Oliver, Daisy and Puppy and her cat, Chloe.

Kathy is survived by her loving husband of 38 years, Gilbert “Gil” McBride; her daughter, Amber McBride; three grandchildren, Makayla Martinez, Albany White and Braiden White; special niece, Taylor (Ken) Bryant; nephew, Aiden and niece, Autumn.

She was preceded by her parents; sister Colleen Ceja; Nephew, Michael Ceja; father and mother-in-law, Norman, Sr. and Shirley McBride; brother-in-law, Mickey McBride; and sister-in-law, Vicki Boyd.

The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to the staff of Joliet Area Community Hospice for all of their kind and compassionate care.

Visitation for Kathy McBride will be held on Friday, December 8, 2017 from 3:00 to 7:30 p.m. at the Fred C.
