Wilma M. Gorski
(nee Streeter)
Age 94, late of Shorewood, and formerly of Mt. Greenwood, passed away peacefully, Sunday, December 3, 2017 at home, surrounded by her loving family.
Wilma retired from the City of Chicago, where she worked many years as a laboratory technician.
She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Her children, family and friends meant everything to her.
Wilma was the loving and devoted mother of Dexter (Debbie), Gary (the late Bonnie) and Martin (Rose) Gorski; dear grandmother of Tom and Jason Gorski, Pamela Fortune, Julie (Dean) Geyer, Gary Jr. (Sherry), David (Aliona Craig), Bryan (Erica), Melissa Gorski, and Kelly (Sam) Huffman; beloved great-grandmother of nine with one due in March; fond sister to Iva (the late T. J.) Hawley; and dear aunt to many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Tadeusz M. "Ted" Gorski (July 23, 2012); her parents, William and Julia (Wood) Streeter; and several brothers and sisters.
A Memorial Visitation for Wilma M. Gorski will be held on Monday, December 11, 2017, from 11:00 a.m. until the time of services at 1:00 p.m. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Roads, Joliet. Inurnment will be at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery.
