Age 73, of Joliet, passed away suddenly on Monday, December 11, 2017 at home. She was born in Riverside, CA, to Raymond, Sr. and Alice (nee Johnson) Kastern. A former resident of Milwaukee, WI, she has resided in the Shorewood area the past 50 years. Kathryn loved NASCAR, going to the casinos and visiting with friends.
Surviving are her three children, Suzanne (Mark) Clayson, Greg (Jill) Perschbacher, and Sandy Bayuk; five grandchildren, Jeremy Bayuk, Miranda Perschbacher, Jennifer Bayuk, Katie Clayson, and Max Partridge; her mother, Alice Kastern; siblings, Genevieve Kastern, Robert Kastern, Raymond Kastern, Jr., Mary Alice Riefel, Donna Lundquist, and Diane Ruesch; numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
She was preceded by her husband, Jerome Perschbacher (2000); and her father, Raymond Kastern, Sr.
A memorial service for Kay Perschbacher will be held on Thursday, December 21, 2017 at 6:00 p.m. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Rds., Joliet. Family will receive friends and relatives from 2:00 p.m. until the time of service. Private family inurnment will be at Woodlawn Memorial Park Mausoleum.
