Jamee L. Fairbairn

Age 36, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, December 12, 2017 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident in Juneau County, Wisconsin.  She was born June 18, 1981 to Ralph and Jacqueline (nee Gordon) Fairbairn. Raised and educated in Joliet, she was a graduate of Joliet Central High School, Class of 1999.

She was the beloved mother of Skylar Vantreese; dearest friend and former wife of Greg Vantreese; loving daughter of Ralph and Jacque Fairbairn; and the fond sister of Caryn (Gerald) Fortner, Kristine (Robert) Fairbairn and Dyann (Patrick) Sallese. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.  Jamee will also be missed by her pets, Norman and Sassy.

Jamee had boundless energy, and will be remembered as a caring and trusting soul with a generous nature.  She would help anyone, but her primary focus was her daughter, Skylar.  She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

Funeral services for Jamee Fairbairn will be held Monday, December 18, 2017 at 10:00 a.m., at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Rds., Joliet.  Interment will follow at Elmhurst Cemetery, Joliet.  Visitation will be held Sunday, from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers, memorials in Jamee’s name can be made to the Skylar Vantreese Education Fund being established at Busey Bank.  For more information, please call 815-741-5500 or visit her Memorial Tribute at www.fredcdames.com
