Paul Daniel Lauterbach
Age 46, passed away, unexpectedly, on Saturday, December 23, 2017, at his home in Minooka, IL. He was born August 30, 1971 in Joliet, IL, to Daniel F. and Jane A. (nee Browman) Lauterbach.
Paul attended schools in Minooka and was a graduate of Minooka Community High School, Class of 1989. He was a professional truck driver all his life. Paul was a loving and devoted father. He lived his life to the fullest. He faced many challenges in life, one of the greatest was his battle with cancer. He fought it and won. His inspiring presence will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege to have known him.
Paul is survived by his beloved son, Daniel Lauterbach; his cherished life partner, Candy Walczak; his parents; two brothers, John (Shannon) Lauterbach of Morris and Matthew (Jessica) Lauterbach of Channahon; sister, Andrea (Edward) Mooney of Bullhead City, AZ; nieces, Madison and Morgan Lauterbach; and nephew, Dylan Mooney.
Visitation for Paul Daniel Lauterbach will be held on Friday, December 29, 2017 at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Rds., Joliet, from 3:00 to 7:30 p.m. Paul will lie in state on Saturday, December 30, 2017 at Plattville Lutheran Church, 5475 Bell Road, Minooka, from 10:00 a.m. until time of services at 11:00 a.m. Cremation rites will be accorded following services.
