Marge M. Monaghan
(nee Lusinger)

Age 98, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 28, 2017, at Sunny Hilly Nursing Home.  She was born November 22, 1919, in Joliet, IL, and was a lifelong resident.  Marge worked at Walgreens for over 40 years and retired from Corwin Pharmacy with over 10 years of dedicated service.  She was a long time parishioner of St. Mary Immaculate Catholic Church that enjoyed spending time in her yard, gardening, her family and her dogs.  

Marge is survived by one daughter, Rosalie (Clarence) Capps of Greenwood, IN; one son, Michael J. Monaghan of Joliet, IL; and two grandchildren, Clint Capps and Jolie (Adam Renihan) Capps.  Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

She was preceded by her husband, Michael J. Monaghan, Sr.; her mother, Josephine Haedke; one brother, Jack Lusinger; two sisters, Irene Kolata and Viola (Francis) Skinner; dear nephew, Howard Strainer; niece, Delores Strainer; and sisters-in-law, Mary E. Monaghan and Alice Ayersman.

A Memorial Mass for Marge M. Monaghan will be held Saturday, June 9, 2018 at 10:30 a.m., at St. Mary Immaculate Catholic Church, 15629 S.
