Obituary of David Leon Krueger
David Leon Krueger
“Dave”
Age 79, a longtime Joliet resident, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 7, 2018 at his home. Born in Lockport, IL, on March 19, 1938, he was the son of the late Walter and Elaine (nee Evans) Krueger. David was a proud U.S. Navy veteran and most fond of his job as a Maître D’. He will be remembered fondly.
Survivors include numerous friends, who Dave considered family, particularly the families of Bill (Cindy) Rousonelos of Shorewood, and Jody (late Don) Meade of Joliet. Dave’s family would like to thank his breakfast club gang, especially Sue and the late Don Cordano, and a big thank you to Debbie and Glen Podzinek and Joliet Area Community Hospice, who stayed at Dave’s side during his final days.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
