Dear Uncle Norbert,
We want to extend our condolences on the passing of our beloved Aunt Rosemary and our sincere regrets that we cannot be with you at this sad time. Please know that you are in our daily thoughts and prayers.
Aunt Rosemary had numerous nieces and nephews, great and great-great, and what we remember is how much she loved each and every one of us; we were all her children. Her love of family was boundless.
For Nan and I, she was the family historian who knew who was related to who, grandparents and great grandparents, cousins, aunts and uncles. Her recall was astonishing and stories endlessly entertaining and informative.
She was also one of the funniest persons we’ve ever met. Too many tales to tell here, but feel certain everyone has an “Aunt Rosemary story.” Her love of music and dance must also be mentioned and was evident through many years of helping operate Mr. Zee’s and being an avid devoted of “The Band.”
We celebrate her glorious 93-almost 94 years in our lives. We miss her today, tomorrow, and as long as we live, but are comforted in knowing that the radio is playing and once again there will be dancing on Irving Street.
Love,
Sheila and Nan
