Obituary of Ron Deischer

At the age of 79, Ron Deischer passed away on Sunday, January 21, 2018 at Salem Village in Joliet.

Born in Mt. Carmel, and a Morris resident since 1958.  Retired from Caterpillar Tractor Company in Aurora in 1989 after 30 years of service as a millwright.  Ron enjoyed woodworking in his spare time and could be seen at many craft shows selling his hand made specialties.  However, Ron enjoyed most of all spending time with family and friends.

Preceded by his parents.

Survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Awanda (nee Hudson) Deischer of Morris; one daughter, Rhonda Deischer of Greenfield, IN; one son, Rob (Dee) Deischer of Morris; and one granddaughter, Nicole Deischer of Plainfield.

Funeral Services for Ron Deischer will be Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 1201 W.
