Obituary of Jeffrey Lee Landaiche
Jeffrey Lee Landaiche, age 54, of Joliet, passed away suddenly, Saturday, January 20, 2018 at Presence St. Joseph Medical Center.
Born October 10, 1963 in Joliet, he was a graduate of St. John the Baptist Grade School and Joliet Central High School, Class of 1981. He later received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Illinois in Mechanical Engineering. Jeff worked as a Journeyman Plumber and was a proud member of Chicago Journeymen Plumbers, Local #130, U.A.
He was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church, Shorewood, where he served as an usher, Eucharistic minister, and was a member of the Knights of Columbus Holy Family Council #15732.
Jeff loved vacationing every year in Door County, Wisconsin, where his many friends became like family. He will also be remembered for his devotion to his many pets.
Surviving are his beloved wife of 27 years, Christi L. (nee Ringman) Landaiche; two loving daughters, Emily and Melissa Landaiche; his mother, Eunice (nee Futterer) Landaiche; three sisters, Jeanne (Henry) Cremer, Joan Landaiche, and Janet Adams; one brother, John (Cathy) Landaiche; many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews; a best friend, Gary Adams; his mother-in-law, Kay Ringman; and his wife’s extended family.
He was preceded in death by his father, James P. Landaiche (2009); and one brother, James M. Landaiche (2010).
A Mass of Christian Burial for Jeffrey Landaiche will be celebrated Saturday, February 3, 2018 at 11:30 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 404 N. Hickory Street, Joliet, IL 60435. Visitation will be held from 10:30 until the time of Mass at the church. Cremation rites have been accorded and interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to Holy Family Catholic Church or the Knights of Columbus Council #15732 would be appreciated.
