Jo M. Cyborski

Age 71, suddenly, watching the blue moon in her husband’s arms, God gently called her home on Wednesday, January 31, 2018.  Born in Salt Lake City, UT, on July 20, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Alvin Roob and Eugnia (nee Woolsey) Chamberlain.  Jo enjoyed cross stitching, crossword puzzles, writing, dancing, and was passionate about outer space exploration and reading fiction.  

Jo is survived by her loving husband of 50 years (August 26, 1967), Donald R. Cyborski; daughter, Shannon Cyborski; and sister, Cindy McFadden.

She was preceded by her parents and sister, Dolores Harris.

Visitation for Jo M. Cyborski will be held on Saturday, February 3, 2018, from 12:00 p.m. until time of services at 3:00 p.m., at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Rds., Joliet.   Rev. David Nygard will officiate.  As it was Jo’s request, cremation rites will be accorded following services.  In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Guardian Angel Community Services, Sexual Assault Services, 168 N.
