Leonard Schlak

Obituary of Leonard Edward Schlak

Age 90, of Morris, IL and formerly Dwight and Lombard, IL passed peacefully at Regency Care of Morris.  He was born in Elmhurst, IL and was a long time resident of Lombard.  A United States Navy Veteran, Len served from 1946 until he was honorably discharged in April of 1948.  He was a former member of St. John Lutheran Church in Lombard where he started the first Cub Scout Pack and was a member of the West Town Barbershop Chorus.


He is survived by his three sons, Ronald (Wendy) Schlak of Glendale Heights, IL, Steven (Maureen) Schlak of Lombard and Thomas (Debbie) Schlak of Geneva, IL;  his three grandchildren, Jessica (Eric) Phillips, Elizabeth (Drew) Logan and Christopher Grimes; his great grandchildren, Parker and Emerson Phillips, Harper and Mason Logan.

Preceded by his son, David Albert Schlak (1969).
