Age 64, of Joliet, IL, and formerly of Oak Lawn, IL, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 17, 2018, surrounded by her loving family, at Presence St. Joseph Medical Center. She was born November 25, 1953, in Chicago, IL, and attended Bogan High School.
Beloved wife of 22 years to John Conrath; loving mother of Matthew (Melissa) Walker, Katie Conrath (fiancé Stephen) and Paul (Beth) Bonk; devoted “Nana” of Penelope and Ally Bonk; dearest daughter of Dorothea A. (Wesselhoff) Marr; fond sister of Eddie (Annie) Wesselhoff, the late Kathryn (Ronald) Oedy and the late Larry Wesselhoff; dear sister-in-law of Barbara LaMorte, Greg Conrath, Larry (Linda) Conrath and Tim (Jeanie) Conrath; cherished aunt of Cassandra (John) Christiansen, Marta Wesslehoff, Graham Wesselhoff, Chris Oedy, the late Jason Oedy; Larry (Brooke) Conrath, Claire Conrath and Kate (Kris) Myczek.
Sharon recently retired from the Oak Lawn Park District, after 28 years of dedicated service. She enjoyed motorcycle riding and traveling, however, her greatest joy was spending time with her family and friends.
Funeral services for Sharon Conrath will be held on Tuesday, March 20, 2018, at 8:00 p.m. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Rds., Joliet. As it was Sharon’s request, cremation rites will be accorded following her services.
