Obituary of John Donahue

John J. Donahue "Jack" Age 69. Monday, November 24, 2008 at Provena Saint Joseph Medical Center. Born April 4, 1939 in Joliet to the late James and Marie (nee Novak) Donahue, he was a lifetime area resident. A graduate of Joliet Catholic High, class of 1957. He retired from Tri-County Stockdale after 25 years of service. Beloved husband of 49 years to Mary Ann (nee Gaking); loving father of John (Debra) Donahue, Lynn (Joe) Talarico and Bob (Amie) Donahue; proud grandfather of Jill and Johnny Donahue; Kim Ivie, Christopher and Meggan Talarico; Emily and Brooklyn Donahue; dear great-grandpa of three; fond brother of the late Idann Kinsella, Maureen (late Charles) Phillips, Virginia (Lawrence) Adamsick and James (Mary Lou) Donahue. Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. Jack's greatest love in life was being with his beloved wife and family. He will live on forever in their hearts and minds. Funeral Services for John J. Donahue will be Saturday, November 29, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred. Interment Plainfield Township Cemetery.
