Obituary of Janet Donnelly

Janet M. Donnelly (Nee Booklund) Age 63. Friday September 5, 2008 at Kindred Hospital in Sycamore, Illinois following a courageous battle with lung disease. Born in Joliet on May 3, 1945 and a life long Joliet area resident. Some of her greatest loves were spending time with her family, travel, card games, family fishing trips and bowling. She enjoyed children and loved to babysit. Survived by her loving husband of 47 years George C. Donnelly. Two sons Kenneth M. (devoted friend Jill and her daughter Kristi Lyles) Donnelly and Joseph S. (Karen) Donnelly all of Joliet. One daughter Karen M. (Steve) Spiech and two granddaughters Katherine and Elizabeth Spiech of Indianapolis, Indiana. One brother James C. Booklund. Four sisters Kay (the late Jim) Dickinson, Judith A. Booklund, Barbara L. Booklund all of Joliet and Suellyn Booklund of New Lenox. Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. Preceded by her parents Harold and Helen (Nee Wilmette) Booklund. Two sisters Patricia (Hilliard "Sam") Bailey and Sharon Muren. Funeral services for Janet M. Donnelly will be Tuesday September 9, 2008 at 9:15 from the funeral home chapel to the Cathedral of St. Raymond Nonnatus for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10 a.m. Interment Woodlawn Memorial Park Cemetery.
