Obituary of Robert Donovan

Robert W. Donovan Age 80, of Joliet, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, October 17, 2010. He was a graduate of Bradley University, Peoria, where he was a member of Pi Kappa Alpha and Zeta Phi Honorary Fraternity. A member of the American Legion Post #1080 and Marne Post #13. Former member of the Knights of Columbus. He worked as an accountant for American Steel and Wire and Kerr Glass, later retiring from the U.S. Postal Service as a mail carrier. Survived by his sister, Joanne (Donald) Gregorash of Joliet; four nieces and nephews, Dennis (Debbie) Gregorash, Sue (Dave) Misewicz, Robert (Debbie) Gregorash, and Margaret (Sean) McLaughlin; nine great-nieces and nephews, and ten great-great-nieces and nephews. Preceded by his parents, William J. and Pauline M. (nee Herbst) Donovan. Funeral Services for Robert W. Donovan will be Thursday, October 21, 2010 at 11:45 a.m. from the funeral home to St. Mary Immaculate Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 12:30 p.m. Interment Resurrection Cemetery, Romeoville.
