Obituary of Hayley Ann West
Hayley Ann West, age 22, of Glendale Heights, passed away suddenly on Saturday, May 5, 2018.
Born December 28, 1995 in Downers Grove, she was a graduate of Glenbard East High School, attended Southern Illinois University, and received her Associates Degree from the College of DuPage. Hayley enjoyed working as a leasing agent for Lakeside Apartments.
Hayley was a devoted daughter, a loving sister, a favorite aunt and godmother, a dear niece, and a cherished friend. She especially enjoyed being an aunt to her nieces and nephew. In her free time, she enjoyed playing softball and caring for her beloved dog, Bella.
Surviving are her mother, Sheri Lynn (Kevin Pokosa) Wheatley of Plano; her father, Lloyd E. (Karen Kedziora) West of Glendale Heights; three brothers, Edward (Cassie) West of Joliet, Trevor West of West Chicago, and Devin Pokosa of West Chicago; one sister, Marissa West of West Chicago; two nieces, Autumn and Aria West; one nephew, Anthony West; her grandparents, Eleanor and Edward Mullins of Glendale Heights, and Michael and Alice Wheatley of Vandalia; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins; and her step-mother, Diane Kowalski of West Chicago.
A Visitation for Hayley West will be held Saturday, May 12, 2018 from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m., at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Roads, Joliet. The gathering will conclude with a prayer and eulogy at 5:00 p.m. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family would be appreciated.
