Obituary of Sharon Vinitsky
Sharon Vinitsky, age 74, of Hoffman Estates, and formerly Joliet, IL died peacefully Friday, May 18, 2018.
Born May 27, 1943 in St. Joseph, MO, she was the daughter of the late Irvin and Ida (nee Langman) Burnstein. She married Sanford Vinitsky, and he preceded her in death on February 27, 1993.
Surviving are her two devoted sons, Ryan (Sandra) Vinitsky of Schaumburg, and Dale Vinitsky of Chicago; one brother, Art (Hazel) Burnstein of St. Joseph, MO; her Chihuahua granddaughter, Lia; and an aunt who was like a second mother, Beverly Cohen.
Sharon was a very loving, caring and selfless mother, mother-in-law, and sister who loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed visiting Las Vegas, and was a big fan of Elvis and Dr. Phil.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at the Joliet Jewish Congregation, 250 N. Midland Ave., Joliet, where she will Lie-in-State from 12:00 Noon until services begin at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Mt. Moriah Cemetery.
