Obituary of Linda C. Borth

Linda Carol Borth, age 77, of Joliet, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, May 20, 2018, with her family by her side.

She was born July 26, 1940 in Wheeler, Texas, to the late Earl "Pat" Patterson and Lois Mae (nee Davis) Patterson Collier, and was a long time Joliet resident.  She owned and operated her own beauty salon for many years, worked as an agent for several area newspapers, and was also an insurance agent for several years.

Linda was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who was always there for her family.  She will be remembered for her sense of humor and not being shy about giving her family advice.

Surviving are two sons, Joseph “Joe” (Chris) Borth of Joliet, and John (Connie) Borth of Joliet; four grandsons, Luke, Jake, Jeremy (Sonia) and Adam; four great-grandchildren, Iszek, Olivia, Tilliana, and William; one sister, Claudia Hill; and four nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Gathering for Linda C. Borth will be held Saturday, May 26, 2018 from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at the Fred C.
