Obituary of Charles Dosher

Charles W. Dosher Age 83. Born January 18, 1926, died May 10, 2009 after a lingering illness. A U.S. Army Veteran who served in Italy during WWII. A member of V.F.W. Cantigny Post #367 and Harwood Post #5, as well as First Christian Church (Crossroads). He retired in 1983 as a Supervisor from Caterpillar Tractor Co. after 31 years of service. He repaired and collected clocks for 50 years, being known as "The Old Clock Man". He leaves to mourn his wife whom he was married to for 66 years, Grace M. Dosher; Three sons, Arthur W. (Shirley) , Larry D. (Sharon) and Dwight David (Terry) Dosher. One daughter, Jennifer (Rigo) Muniz. Also survived by his sister Wanda (Delbert) Mallette of Carmi, IL., as well as many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Ilene (Ehrhardt) The Dosher family would like to extend their gratitude to Joliet Area Community Hospice for the excellent care and compassion. Funeral services for Charles W. Dosher will be Tuesday, May 12, 2009, 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment Woodlawn Memorial Park. Visitation Monday, 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at: FRED C.
