Obituary of Carol Dracca
Dracca, Carol M.
Age 80. Sunday, August 19, 2012 at the Joliet Area Community Hospice Home. Born in Joliet on January 3, 1932 to the late Frank and Clara Dracca, she was a lifetime resident. Carol attended St. Raymond Grade School and graduated from St. Francis Academy. She retired as a quality control supervisor at Illinois Bell. After retirement, she went to work as a switchboard receptionist at Lewis University and retired after 20 years of service. She enjoyed reading, cooking, traveling, going to the casino and out to lunch.
Survived by her sister, Kaye (Brud) Prock; nieces and nephew, Susan (Daniel) Hodgman, Waldo (Susan) Prock, Doty (Danny) Koerner and Kathy Prock (Mark) Alford; great-nieces and great-nephews, Colleen, Danny, Katelyn, Patrick, Nick, Dana, Georgia, Jack, Henry and Molly; special friends, Sandy, Julie and Tammy.
The family would like to give a special thank you to the wonderful staff of Joliet Area Community Hospice and Dr. Orenic, Dr. Pillai, and her caregiver, Doty Koener.
Funeral Services for Carol M. Dracca will be Thursday, August 23, 2012 at 9:15 a.m. from the funeral home to Holy Family Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials in her name to Joliet Area Community Hospice would be appreciated. Visitation Wednesday 4-8 p.m. at:
