Debra L. Schoiber

Debra Lynn Schoiber, of Plainfield, passed away suddenly on Sunday, July 8, 2018 at Presence St. Joseph Medical Center with her family by her side.

Born November 16, 1960 in Waupaca, WI, she was the daughter of the late Marshall L. and Lillian M. (nee Greenwood) Olsen.

Debra and her husband owned and operated Glad Appliance Service.  She will be remembered for her big heart, her generosity, and her willingness to do anything for anyone.  She loved country music but the most important thing in her life was spending time with her grandchildren.

Surviving are her beloved husband, Allan J. Schoiber of Plainfield; her son, Steven (Lauren) Schoiber of Minooka; two stepsons, David Schoiber in Missouri, and Allan Schoiber  in Arkansas; two grandchildren, Kyle and Lainey; one brother, Michael Olsen; her stepmother, Thelma Olsen; a daughter-in-law, Debbie; her father-in-law, Allan F. Schoiber; and her husband’s extended family.

A Memorial Gathering for Debra Schoiber will be held Saturday, July 14, 2018 from 12:00 Noon to 2:00 p.m.  at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Roads, Joliet.  A Memorial Service will follow at 2:00 p.m.  Interment will be private.
