“Jeff”

Age 38, of Wilmington, and formerly of Minooka, passed away on Thursday, July 12, 2018, after a lingering illness, with his loving family by his side.  Born on September 28, 1979, in Joliet, he was the son of the late Leslie Gene and Betty Jo (nee Lucas) Todd.  He attended Minooka Community High School and earned an Associate’s Degree from Joliet Junior College.  Jeffrey enjoyed a rewarding career in the construction industry as an operating engineer, was a member of Local 150 and a member of St. Ann Catholic Church in Channahon.  He loved camping, traveling and spending time with family and friends.

 Jeffrey is survived by his loving wife of 12 years, Candice (nee Kubinski) Todd of Wilmington; children, Silina Creed of Joliet, Mikayla, Micheal and Lucas Todd; sister, Stacy (Shane) Avery of Trenton, GA; uncle, Bruce Todd; nephew, Devin Avery; niece Ashlynn Avery; mother-in-law, Peggy Kubinski; and Debbie Ayon.  Many other loving family and friends also survive.

He was preceded by his parents; father-in-law, Gerald Kubinski; uncle, Roy (Babe) Todd; and grandmother-in-law, Mary Kubinski.

Funeral Services for Jeffrey Bruce Todd will be held on Monday, July 16, 2018 at 9:00 a.m. from the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Rds., Joliet, to St. Ann Catholic Church, 24500 S. Najavo Dr., Channahon, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m.  Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Joliet.  In lieu of flowers, memorials in his name to the family would be appreciated.  Visitation will be held on Sunday from 2:00 until 5:00 p.m.  For more information, please call 815-741-5500 or visit his Memorial Tribute at www.fredcdames.com
