Obituary of Baldur Kirsch, Jr.

Baldur Kirsch, Jr.,  age 47, passed away suddenly Tuesday July 10, 2018.

 Baldur is survived by his children, Alex Bays and Chloe Hunter Kirsch; his parents, Baldur and Raquel Kirsch, Sr.; his sisters, Olga Kirsch, Erika Kirsch, Marlene Kirsch, and Stefanie (Tyler) Pommier; and numerous nieces and nephews.

 He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Aldolf and Olga Kirsch and Nicasio and Consuelo Garcia.

 Baldur worked in the construction trades and was an accomplished cement finisher.  He loved boating, but nothing was more important to him than his family.  His large family, and his many relative and friends will miss him terribly.

 A Memorial Service for Baldur Kirsch, Jr. will be held Saturday July 14, 2018 at 12:00 p.m. NOON at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Roads, Joliet, with Fr. Peter Jarosz, officiating. Visitation will follow the service from Noon to 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.  Interment in Woodlawn Memorial Park will be private.
