Jeanne M. Anderson
(nee Keeley)
Age 69, of Shorewood, and formerly of Bolingbrook, Romeoville and Oak Lawn, passed away Sunday, August 1, 2010 at home surrounded by her devoted family. Born April 12, 1941 in Chicago, she was the daughter of Thomas "Ray" and Dorothy (nee Cook) Keeley. She was a graduate of Oak Lawn High School, and retired from the Quality Control department of Rockwell Westcom after many years of service.
Jeanne was an avid Chicago Cubs fan, and also enjoyed ice skating and the Olympics. She was active in several clubs at Shorewood Glen.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 41 years, Walter A. Anderson; her loving dog, Mille; her loving children, Cindy (Mickey) Dotson, Gerald (Marilyn) Richards, Cheryl (Thomas) Morgenroth, and Jeffrey (Delia) Richards; nine grandchildren, Dawn Morgenroth, Brian Hickey, Shannon Nunn, Tom (Sarah) Morgenroth, Sean Nunn, Meghan Richards, Zane Richards, Brooke Oko, and Kaden Walter Richards; six great-grandchildren; one sister, Sally Culhane; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Jeanne is also survived by her godchild, Joe Steg; special friends Kelly Bushur and Tom Zimmerman; the Girls of "Que Lastima" who have been special friends for over 50 years; the Shorewood Glen neighbors and friends; and all her camping friends at Woodhaven Lakes.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Thomas Keeley.
The family wishes to gratefully acknowledge the kindness and care provided by JOHA and its employees especially Dr. Gustafson, her caregivers at Provena St. Joseph Medical Center and Joliet Area Community Hospice.
Memorial Services for Jeanne M. Anderson will be Saturday, August 7, 2010 at 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home chapel. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Joliet Oncology-Hematology Associates Foundation or Joliet Area Community Hospice would be appreciated. Visitation Saturday from 3-8 p.m. at:
