Obituary of Dennis Duggan

Dennis T. Duggan Age 67. Tuesday, August 12, 2008 at the Joliet Area Community Hospice Home. Born in Portsmouth, England and a Shorewood resident for over 40 years. Formerly employed in the sign industry as a master neon tube bender for many years until his retirement. A member of the IBEW Local #176. Dennis was the ultimate "Mr. Fix It" and could build or repair anything. His hobbies included the mastery of woodworking and furniture and cabinet building for family and friends. Preceded by his father, Dennis Duggan and his mother, Kathleen Stagg. Survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Joanne Duggan of Shorewood; one daughter, Lorraine of Brighton, England; two sons, Stephen (Robin) Duggan and David Duggan both of Georgia; proud papa of seven grandchildren, Sami, Adam, Zoe, Andrew, Josh, Emilea and Ashley-Taylor; two sisters, Denise and Jackie both of Illinois; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins including special cousin, Dave Dallender of South Sea, England also survive. Funeral Services for Dennis T. Duggan will be Saturday, August 16, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home chapel. Pastor Bob Hahn officiating. As it was Dennis' request, cremation rites will be accorded following funeral services. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Joliet Area Community Hospice Home in his name would be appreciated.
