I just read in my Berea Citizen that Mrs. Hannan passed on Aug. 16. And my heart just broke.
I have many fond memories of the Hannans having grown up right across the street in Berea. From every day neighborhood kid antics with Johnny and Mary, wiffleball in our backyard with Pat to our annual New Years Eve parties.
I remember Mrs Hannan discussing Civil War history with my dad on several occasions. She was very well versed on a number of topics. Which never ceased to amaze me. She was one of a kind and the world just lost a unique, warm and caring lady.
I'm so sorry and my thoughts are with the family.
