You were respected, very much loved and will be extremely missed. We will proudly walk in your footsteps but your shoes can never be filled. The entire Lockhart family sends the most sincerest regrets but we know he is in a better place. May God bless the Poloskey family and we thank them for allowing us time to see him when we did.

I can remember when Joe moved in above our garages behind our house on Virginia St in Joliet. It my and best experience with people from outside the United States. We had a lot of fun and new experiences. This my first experience with football or should say soccer. A game which had very little exposure in the United States. We had a lot of fun at get togethers and picnics. I had a hard time understanding Joe and his friends, but they take the time help me understand them. The Great times of the passed.

So sorry for your loss. We feel privileged to have gotten to know Joe over the last 26 years or so. I know our kids thought of him as in an "locus grandparentis."

Betsy, so sorry to hear about your Dad passing. Rest assured that my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. These times are very hard but thinking of all the memories and good times softens the hurt a little over time.

Dear Poloskey’s,
I’m so sad to hear about Joe’s passing. I have so many wonderful, fond and fun memories of the winters Joe has spent in Florida visiting Mike, Laurie and the kids. Joe was a very warm and special person. Joe, you were very kind generous to our family. My dad even has some good memories of time spent with you and Mike, so special. My heart is heavy to think that we won’t be seeing you this Fall. You are all in our thoughts and hearts at this difficult time. We loved you Joe. May you Rest In Peace. Love, Hugs and prayers Jen and Family ❤️

Please accept my deepest sympathies for you loss. I have had the privilege to know and work with Mr. Henry Nemanich for these past 15 years here in Florida, and many times Hank would tell me stories about his beloved Uncle Joe.
Please accept my condolences and may God keep you safe in the palm of His hand.
