Obituary of Leslie DuPree

Leslie DuPree "Les" Age 71, of Shorewood and formerly of Plainfield, died Wednesday, December 1, 2010 at Provena Saint Joseph Medical Center. Born in Mercer, TN to the late Louis and Ruby (Spencer) DuPree, he had resided in the Chicagoland area most of his life. Beloved husband of 29 years to Debbie A. (Mojzis); loving father of Kenneth (Dawn) DuPree; proud grandfather of Alan, Meghan and Hailey; brother of Dorothy (William) Bates, Art (Barbara) DuPree, Betty (late Jerry) Snyder, and Nancy (Chuck) Oliver. Many nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. Preceded in death by his parents, and one brother, Alvin DuPree. A retired auto mechanic, Les was a former member of Lily Cache Rod & Gun Club; he enjoyed fishing, shooting and auto racing, both NHRA and NASCAR. Funeral Services for Leslie DuPree will be Monday, December 6, 2010, 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home chapel. Interment will be private. Visitation Sunday 2-6 p.m. at: FRED C.
